Well it was time for me, mommy and daddy to get back to Delhi ... so dad organized a photo session with me and badi nanu and heres me telling her don't feel sad " I'll be Back " :-) .... and if possible come and visit me in Delhi ....

We celebrated Nanu's birthday with lots of pomp and splendor ... we had a havan in the morning .... and then later on ... party time :-)

My first picnic ...

My first picnic was in Bangalore a place called Nandi hills and what a smashing picnic it was too, the weather was awesome clouded, occasional pitter patter of the rain and a distant view to Bangalore .... Mommy made some chicken/veg sandwiches, loads of chips, namkeen, etc etc and poppy maasi made chole, puri, sabzi, and an endless list of side dishes .... and i did see Naveen uncle, appu and dad hitting the beer bottles with vengeance ... thankfully mom packed my bottle too ;-) ....

Ahhhh .. thank you daddy that kiss made the picnic even better ...

Heres everybody looking very content after devouring all the goodies made by mommy and maasi ... specially cousin vaani who couldn't eat another cheese ball but was waiting patiently for the food to digest to pack in some more cheese balls but alas later some monkeys won the battle of snatching away the bag of cheese :)

hi all, mum and dad took me to Bangalore on my first plane ride to meet appu and ammama .... and not to forget poppy maasi and my cousins ..... i'll let the pictures below do the talking for my experience which was mostly spent in slumber ....

mommy i am getting a weird kind of a feeling ....

Another milestone in my life
On the appointed day 11 July 2007, I got dressed in my fineries

A last minute check with Appu regarding all the arrangements

St Marks Cathedral truly is magnificent. I am impressed. Lots of aunts and uncles were there. Some I knew but there were lots of new faces. I need to get to know them

My first nail cutting session was a major disaster .... Dad you need to up the power on those glasses lemme get a little big and get my hands on a nail cutter and cut your nails too [:) ha ha].

I am also keeping the dress as a reminder to what you did sniff ... sniff .... Thank God for mom who's doing a much better job without all the blood shed.

Appu visit's & My first Diamond Ring

Appu I am pretty angry with you, for visiting me so late but I'll forgive you just this once .... Coz you brought me so many presents ... Also thanks for taking care of me every morning .... noon ... and well can't put nights coz you were usually out before me ;-) ....

I also enjoyed all those stories you kept telling me about vellyammachi (great grandmom) and all the fairy tales I am sure I understood some of them ....

Appu ... enough talking on the phone where is my story :(

The day dad and dadu broke out the cigar and scotch :) to celebrate my coming to this world.

But appu am watching better not make a habit of it else you know i'll get very angry.

Finally lemme show off all my wares, the first jewelery modeling session I ever had.

Hopefully nobody is getting blinded by the shine of all the diamonds on my ring ;-) thanks appu for all the gifts (dad hope you are taking notes)

Man It's been 3 long months since I have been doing the tough task of growing up, mom's been helping me grow up and dad as you all know has been as lazy as ever and not updated my site.

There's been a lot that's happened since, a string of firsts and new experiences.

Had my first havan, nanu and everybody else came down from Yamuna Nagar.

Finally saw dadu for the first time, he got the time to come down and visit me in Delhi.

Had my first Injection shots :( [wonder who cried more me or mommy]

Took my first plane ride (yipeee) to go to Bangalore, I was such an angel and didn't cry at all

Got a big welcome at Appu (read dadu from here on) and Ammama (dadi) house in Bangalore

Got a big welcome at Poppy Massi's place

My first Pram ride

My first swing

My first party

and finally My Baptism

I hope daddy has taken photos for all these events, else I won't speak to him for 1 whole hour when i grow up.

My First Easter !!!

Thanks to my 2 dadu's [delhi dadu and appu [who is still in bangalore :*( ]] I had a smashing Easter !!!
Amamma (dadi) had been telling daddy to go and get a lovely easter for me the whole week, but since daddy is very lazy he kept postponing it till the last moment.

But the morning of easter my delhi dadu came with my wonderful easter egg and now officially my favorite bouquet of flowers !!! And not to forget a very cute Card.

Hey guys just this other day mommy brought this beautiful looking thing and put it right next to my bed !!!

When I asked mommy what this was she patiently explained to me that these were beautiful flowers (orchids and roses) sent all the way from California by my Purnima Maasi and Anoobhav uncle !!!

Hmmmmm .... In that case let me have a closer look !!!

Mommy I think they are really pretty, I liked them a lot please get a new one for me every day !!!

Also could you please call up Purnima maasi and Anoobhav uncle and thank them from my side, I'll do so personally when I become a bit older !!!

Burp Time after my Large Peg of Milk :-)

Luckily now my drinking prowess has increased from one small (30ml) every 3 hours to one large (60ml) ;-) Ain't I improving guys !!! This thanks to mommy and daddy (I think more to do with daddy) for keeping me drunk on milk all the time !!!

Cool here's daadi having a shot at it !!!! mmmmmm it's so comfortable maybe I shouldn't burp for a very long time :-) ....

Man don't I look pretty when I sleep !!! This is my favorite pastime ... I do this all through the day !!! Though I like to keep mummy, papa and daadi awake from 1:00am to 6:00 :-) ... This thanks to mummy since I am on Californian Time.

Man who let that one go .... somebody really has a bad stomach in this room ;-) ... thankfully I am still asleep.

I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my Maasi who has been one of the most excited people on this earth, she has been shopping for me for the past 8 months and since she didn't know whether I was going to be a boy or a girl she brought me a dress in every color possible :-) .... And also lots and lots and lots of other baby stuff !!!

I think maasi's like this are every parent's dream :) ....

Thanks to my maasi all the flights from Bangalore to Delhi are ferrying gifts, dresses, blankets, etc etc for me which she has been collecting for the past 8 months !!! Thank you maasi !!!

Mommy tells me that I bear a great resemblance to her and I only hope that I turn out to be as beautiful as her !!! Will let everybody know about the same once she gets here this Saturday !!! along with my two beautiful cousins Minty (Vrinda) and Vaani !!!

I would really like to thank my doctor who got me out into this world and was the first to hold me and announce my arrival into this world and also not to forget pinch my bottoms ;-)

I would like to thank my doctor for not only bringing me into this world but also going one step beyond being a doctor by being very patient with my mommy through all her trepidations, pains, aches, worries, etc ...

Last few hours at the hospital

My hospital room, in his excitement daddy forgot to take any photos of the hospital room where I have been languishing these past 5 days in the adept care of all the nurses (99% from the land my dad comes from). They cleaned me, fed me, burped me and not to forget gave me all the required shots so that I need.

Also they took care of my mommy who was recovering from having me .....

Thank you all the nurse aunties ... and the doctors .....

You can see how well they took care of us me and mommy were in the land of nod just before daddy woke us up to take us home !!!

Our Daughter,

Aisha (name pending approval from the mother) arrived on 23rd March 2007, though she troubled her mom all 9 months but one sight of her and all we could think was that we could go through it over and over again ....

Since she is still in the hospital with mommy dear will keep adding to this space as and when I can steal those moments away from her !!!
